* Of course it is worth remembering that, although DAD makes it really easy to share your music, it will not police your activities. The onus is on you not to share music that you are not entitled to share. DAD shares on a one to one basis – files and indexes are shared on this basis, so both sender and recipient know each other.

Future updates, coming soon, include the ability to manage external music-playing devices. With the DAD rules you could, for example, instruct DAD to load certain artists/albums/etc. Then, use any remaining space to load the latest music you have.
Additionally, we will be including intelligent translation. If you want to copy music to another computer or music player that cannot use the format your music is in then no problem. DAD will not only manage the music transfer for you, but will also convert the format to one your computer or player can use - all without you having to worry about it.
We are also encouraging third party developers to provide further exciting applications that will make use of the DAD index. These applications will help you to use your music data; the music data that is currently locked away. For example, we are looking for these developers to add richer data to your music library, now it is available in DAD's open format. Richer data might be more details on who played what on the tracks and will help you to discover new music.
